Mequon, WI – After hours of deliberation with his campaign staff, a spokesperson for the Gill Chinook campaign has notified the media that the Fish Party's candidate has decided to concede the presidential election.Gill had high hopes for his presidential run especially in southeastern Wisconsin.

After a grueling campaign which launched back on November 5, 2015, Gill has decided to take some time for himself and is currently out on Lake Michigan for some rest and relaxation. Gill decided not to meet with reporters before heading out to the water but he did prepare the following statement:

"It is with disappointment that I announce the end of my presidential campaign. I was truly hoping for a late push yesterday afternoon and evening as the great citizens of this country went to the polls. I must say congrats to this election's winner and recognize all those who threw their hat into the election.

We can not thank you all enough for your support towards my campaign and the newly formed Fish Party. Special thanks to my running mate Mitch "Thunder" Nelles for being by my side throughout this whole experience. Thanks to the Chinooks for allowing me to take time away from my regular duties. Also, thank you to Kapco Park for hosting the first ever Fish Party Convention.

This experience has been one I will never forget. But now I look forward to getting back to the office and preparing for the 2017 Lakeshore Chinooks season. Word around the office is that we got a lot of top prospects heading to the roster and a lot of exciting new additions to our fan experience in 2017. Thank you American and thank you Nook Nation. See you at Kapco Park this summer."
