Grafton, WI – Yesterday, the 2019 schedule was released. Also announced was the Chinooks promotional theme, the Summer of 19. Summer of 19 will be a celebration of the career and achievements in baseball of one, Robin Yount, who is famously known for his #19 jersey number. The Milwaukee Brewers legend is a minority owner of the Chinooks.

Chinooks Assistant General Manager Eric Snodgrass had the following to say about the upcoming Summer of 19: “With it being the “2019” season, we couldn’t think of a better time to honor “#19″ Robin Yount. We think our fan base will be very impressed with everything we have planned for Summer of 19. Our front office feels it is our best promotional campaign to date. What we have learned over the past seven seasons is that Robin is still king when the conversation comes up regarding who is the most popular baseball player in Milwaukee and state of Wisconsin history.”

The campaign was announced in a video yesterday on the Chinooks Social Network. Minor details have been released regarding the Summer of 19. A majority of details, events, and promotions will be announced in January and into the new year. Summer of 19 will include a number of game day promotions including giveaways, bobbleheads, and theme nights. The campaign will also be incorporated into new concession items and deals as well as a new merchandise line at the Straight Up Inc Tackle Box Team Store.

Most importantly, Summer of 2019 will be used as a vehicle to make an impact on our local community. The campaign will feature multiple charity and community components near and dear to Robin’s heart.

The 2019 season and the Summer of 19 is presented by Port Washington State Bank and will kick off at Kapco Park on Thursday May 30th. Season tickets and group tickets will be available in the coming weeks. The full promotional schedule will be released in mid-April. Single game tickets go on sale around May 1st.

The Chinooks and Robin Yount look forward to all of Nook Nation joining us for “Summer of 19”.
