Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks have announced the promotion of Robert Rothe to the team’s Assistant General Manager.

Rothe will fill the Assistant GM role entering his fourth season and fifth year with the club. Since joining the organization as a concessions and hospitality intern in 2017, he has held various roles within the organization. Those roles include Director of Operations, Hospitality & Special Events in 2020, Operations & Hospitality Manager in 2019, and an Account Executive in 2018.

“There is nobody more deserving of a promotion in the league than Rob Rothe. Each season, he continues to play a more important role in the team’s day to day operation and success. Due to his hardwork and determination, I truly believe the Chinooks provide the best food and beverage menu as well as fan experience in the Northwoods League and sports venues in southeastern Wisconsin. That is a testament to the efforts Rob has put in,” mentioned Eric Snodgrass, the team’s GM.

Rothe will oversee all the team’s operations, stadium operations, concessions & hospitality, and special events as well as assist with the team’s sponsorship program and day to day operations.

“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity. After 560+ days, I can’t wait to light the grills and welcome fans back to Kapco Park,” added Rothe.

Rob graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a degree in Sports Management. Born and raised in Oak Creek, he still resides there with his wife Christina and daughter Charlotte.

The Chinooks 2021 season gets underway on Thursday, June 3rd. The 2021 season and a Wisco Summer is presented by Port Washington State Bank.
