Kapco Park Kapco Park’s unique field design pays tribute to Milwaukee’s baseball history through the input of Baseball Hall of Famer and Chinooks Minority Owner Robin Yount. “I wanted to design the dimensions so there would be plenty of action both defensively and offensively,” says Yount. “To me, seeing guys hit home runs is not as exciting as a player running out a triple or an outfielder making a great diving catch.” And with those thoughts in mind Yount made sure there was plenty of room in the gaps for triples and added dimensions which are a tip of the hat to some of his former teammates.
