Grafton, WI – The Lakeshore Chinooks have announced the hiring and addition of three individuals to the team’s front office. Melissa Colton will become the team’s Marketing Manager, Robert Rothe takes over as the new Operations & Hospitality Manager, and Arie Bazelon becomes the Chinooks’ Media Manager/Account Executive. All three individuals were interns with the organization and also worked for the team during past seasons.

Chinooks GM Shawn Kison had the following to say about the three new hires: “As an organization, we are pleased to add these three talented, motivated individuals to our staff.  Although each brings a unique skill set to the table, all share a hard-working, energetic, positive attitude and are ready to make the 2018 Chinooks season the best ever for our players, interns, and most especially, our fans.  Melissa, Arie, and Rob are a welcome sight around the office and we look forward to them continuing on with the tradition of high-level service you have come to expect from the Lakeshore Chinooks.”

Melissa Colton started with the Chinooks in 2016 as a ticket sales intern. Last season, she rejoined the organization as the Merchandise Manager. Heading into her third year with the Chinooks, she will oversee all the team’s marketing, sponsorship fulfillment, merchandise, Gill’s Reading Challenge, mascot appearances, and donation request. Robert Rothe got his start last summer with Lakeshore as a concessions and hospitality intern. Now heading into his second season, he will take the reigns as the team’s Operations & Hospitality Manager. He will also assist during the off-season with ticket sales. Like Colton, Rothe is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside with a degree in Sports Management. Born and raised in Oak Creek, Robert still resides there with his wife Christina. The two are expecting their first child this July.

Arie Bazelon is no stranger to the organization as she gears up for her fifth season with the Chinooks as the team’s Media Manager and Account Executive. Arie got her start with Lakeshore back during the team’s championship season in 2014 as a webcast intern. From 2015-2017, she ran the videoboard at Kapco Park and assisted with the team’s webcast operation. This season, she will oversee the team’s video production including our live HD broadcast of all home games as well as manage the press box. She will also assist with ticket sales. Bazelon graduated from Cardinal Stritch with a degree in Sports Management and Business. Born and raised in Menomonee Falls, she currently resides in Milwaukee.

The 2018 season is presented by Port Washington State Bank with the home opener set for June 1st at 6:35pm against the Kenosha Kingfish. Season and group tickets are currently on sale with single game tickets available for purchase at the end of April.
