The Minot Hot Tots are in action today in the Dakota Dust-Up Rivalry against the Bismarck Larks. Both of the first two games of this series have been separated by one run, 2-1, Bismarck, on Thursday, and 11-10, Minot, yesterday.

The key for the Minot Hot Tots is, once again, timely hitting. In that 2-1 loss on Thursday, the Tots left ten runners on base. They did that again yesterday, but still scored eleven runs.

The timely hits have begun to fall for the Hot Tots. Yesterday was a great example of this. Henry Allen starred in particular with six RBI, including two home runs (one was a grand slam). Minot has not had an issue getting runners on in many of their games this season, it has been getting those runners home.

The Hot Tots and Larks play at 1:05 today as a part of Corbett Field’s Doubleheader Madness. Come see the game in person or tune into the broadcast on ESPN+.
