HUSKIES RALLY PAST CATS

Huskies came from a 3-0 deficit to knock off Cats 4-3. As a result the Cats record drops to 2-4.

Border Cats pitcher Mike Eagan (Eckerd College) had a solid game not allowing any hits until the fourth inning. Eagan then went on to allow three runs on six hits over six innings. College teammate Jack Mahan (Eckerd College) took the loss allowing one hit and winning run to score in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Joe Gellenbeck (Xavier University) lead Thunder Bay at the plate going 2-3 with a run batted in while Mike Palladino (Quinnipiac) had one hit and one RBI.

The Cats look to close out their road trip with a win Tuesday in Duluth for their “Education Day” game at 1:35pm EST / 12:35 CST.
