CATS END LOSING STREAK
The Border Cats put an end to their losing streak Tuesday night in Mankato with a 9-6 win against the Moondogs improving their record to 12-15.
Cole Stapler (Nicholls State) picked up the win pitching five innings allowing only three runs on seven hits while Donnie Sellers (Wake Forest) also had a note worthy performance pitching 2.1 innings allowing one run on three hits while striking out five
Mikael Mogues (Seton Hall) lead the Cats with two runs on two hits and two RBI’s while Jared James (Long Beach State) notched one run on three hits and two RBI’s. Tyler Coolbaugh (University of Oklahoma) and Eddie Posavec IV (Binghamton University) also picked up two runs and two RBI’s respectively.
The Cats hope to sweep the Moondogs Wednesday night at Franklin Rodgers Park at 7:05pm CST / 8:05pm EST.
