(2003 Mid Season All Stars – Left to Right: Ned Yost Jr., Adam Rowe, Steve Grasley, Steve Foster (Mgr), Rob Marconi and Ben Zobrist)
He may be playing in his third World Series right now, but in the summer of 2003 Ben Zobrist was busy being a Woodchucks standout and breaking some records. Zobrist appeared in 57 games for the Woodchucks and boasted a .319 batting average. Zobrist slugged an impressive .416 and had an OBP of .420. He scored 53 runs that season, which was the Woodchucks single season record at the time. (That record is now held by Brooks Braga who scored 59 runs in 2012).
Join us as we root for the Chicago Cubs and this former Woodchuck to win the 2016 World Series!
