Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have added catcher Isaac Quinones from the University Miami to the 2018 roster.
C – Isaac Quinones | 5’9” | R/R | Freshman | University of Miami
Quinones, a 5’9” freshman originally from Pembroke Pines, FL, will help the infield this summer. Quinones was a three-year letterwinner at West Broward High School where he helped his team to the 2016 District Championship. The catcher earned honorable mention all-county recognition from the Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald his senior season. He was also named 9A-12A all-district. Quinones has a .317 batting average so far in his first season with the Hurricanes. He has six doubles and 12 RBI with a .402 on-base percentage.
