Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have announced that pitcher Orsen Josephina will return for the 2018 season along with newcomer Joey Hennessey.
RHP – Orsen Josephina| 6’2” | R/R | Junior | Palm Beach Atlantic University
Josephina, a right-handed pitcher originally from Willemstad, Curacao, will bring his strong arm back to the mound for a second season with the ‘Chucks. Last summer, Josephina posted a 3.48 ERA with 15 saves for the Woodchucks. His 15 saves were second in the Northwoods League. He had 39 strikeouts in 32.2 innings pitched. Josephina also solidified the win in the 2017 All-Star Game, striking out the last two batters. Josephina has pitched 34.2 innings so far with 41 strikeouts for the Palm Beach Atlantic Sail Fish.
RHP – Joey Hennessey| 6’4” | R/R | Sophomore | Palm Beach Atlantic University
Hennessey will join Josephina in the pitching rotation this summer. Hennessey has 14 strikeouts in 17 innings of relief so far for the Sail Fish. In his freshman season, he posted a 2.87 ERA with nine saves. He had 19 K’s through 31.1 innings. Hennessey is originally from Coconut Creek, Florida.
