Wausau, WIS – The Wisconsin Woodchucks started out strong in their first game at Battle Creek, but after a rough fourth inning, the ‘Chucks fell to the Bombers with a final score of 7-0.
Starting pitcher Brent Headrick pitched five innings, recording three punchouts. Headrick only gave up one run leading up to the 4th inning. In the 4th inning, Battle Creek figured Headrick out and the Woodchucks were suddenly down 6-0. The bullpen performed well with Everett Hurst only giving up one run in the 6th inning and Tyler Jones pitching two scoreless innings.

Reese Alexiades played a nice game, going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double in the 6th inning.
