On June 18, 2022 the Wausau Woodchucks took on the Traverse City Pit Spitters in specialty jerseys presented by Aspirus Health. The game worn jerseys were then auctioned and raffled off throughout the Woodchucks remaining home games to raise money for the Safe Kids Program.

Recently Kim Smerda from the Aspirus Health Foundation and Amanda from the Safe Kids Program were joined by Woody Woodchuck and Woodchucks President/ General Manager Ryan Treu for a check presentation, during which the Woodchucks awarded the Safe Kids Program with a check for $3,240 that was raised through the specialty jersey auction and raffles.
