Wausau, Wisc. – Nominations for this season’s Wisconsin DOT’s Hometown Heroes are now open.

The Hometown Heroes program recognizes a member of the community at each Woodchucks home game who is a vital member of the local community. Each game’s Hometown Hero is honored during pregame ceremonies and receives four reserved grandstand seat tickets to the game.

Nominees can be anyone deemed a “Hometown Hero” – frontline workers, military, police, EMTs, teachers, healthcare workers, etc. The Woodchucks are proud to partner with the Wisconsin DOT to support Hometown Heroes in the Wausau area.
