Wausau, Wisc. – Congratulations to Ryah for being selected as the Aspirus Health Kid of the Month for March!
Ryah is being recognized for her dedication to volunteer her time and talents in the local community. She is an active member of both the Be Amazing Club and Peyton’s Promise, along with volunteering nearly every weekend at the Humane Society of Marathon County. At the Humane Society, Ryah assists with the dogs, helping to keep their kennels clean, feeding them, and giving them love and attention while getting to know each dog’s personality. Ryah also works with the smaller animals at the Humane Society and personally fosters rabbits in her own home, which has led to the successful adoption of three rabbits!
Ryah aspires to have a career in law enforcement specializing in K9 Search and Rescue. Thank you, Ryah, for your dedication to better the lives of animals and people alike!
The Kid of the Month Program is a yearlong program presented by Aspirus Health. All area youth selected as Kids of the Months will be recognized at the August 6th Woodchucks game with one area youth being named Kid of the Year and winning a $1000 scholarship. Nominations are being accepted now at Woodchucks.com. If you know an amazing youth in our community, please consider nominating them for this great honor.
