The Wausau Woodchucks pulled through with the win beating the Madison Mallards 4-3. Tyler Smith (University of South Alabama) earned his second win of the season throwing six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts allowing three hits and two walks. He earned the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night award for his efforts. Smith, in his first two starts, has gone six innings with at least five strikeouts in both. His season ERA is now 0.64 across 14 innings pitched.
