The Wausau Woodchucks are excited to announce that our December Kid of the Month is Mallory! The Kid of the Month program is provided in partnership with Aspirus Health and Aspirus Health Plan to highlight awesome kids in the community making a difference.
Mallory was selected as Kid of the Month for her strong academic success and leadership. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, is a two-time Wisconsin Valley Conference champion, and has competed at the WIAA Girls State Tennis Tournament. She is also active in her school and community through volunteer work, club leadership, math tutoring, and helping organize a local veterans luncheon, while serving as a drum major for Wausau West High School and performing with the Wausau Symphony & Band.
Mallory and the rest of the Kids of the Month will be celebrated at a Woodchucks game during the 2026 season. All nominees will also have a chance to be selected as Kid of the Year and earn a $1,000 scholarship for their future education.
The Woodchucks are always looking to recognize outstanding kids in our community. If you know a kid who deserves the spotlight, nominations for January’s Kid of the Month are still open—click here to nominate someone today!
