The ideal part-time employee arrives at work before scheduled times and clocks in on-time with a positive attitude and is willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure that our fans have the best possible experience at Historic Witter Field, before, during and after the game or festivities.
ALL Rafters full-time, part-time, and volunteer staff are acutely aware that we are performing and interacting with and for the fans and their positive game day experience.
The Beer Host/Server must be energetic and personable under all circumstances. The Beer Host/Server is expected to have phenomenal customer service skills and follow proper alcohol awareness, serving and laws policies. Cash controls, handling, and being able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude are major qualifications for this position. Must be 18+.
Cashiers are the face of the Rafters Food and Beverage experience and they set the tone and expectations of the fan experience with each interaction. They are expected to greet and accommodate customers with a positive attitude and a smile. Cashiers are responsible for handling & managing cash and credit transactions at each of our concessions areas while processing accurate and timely concessions orders. Interested candidates should have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and work well in group settings.
Expediters’ serve as liaisons between the cashier and the fans to fill the food orders. Their focus is on efficiently receiving the customer’s order from the cashier and working with the food building line to produce the products that they need to complete the order. Expeditors are in direct communication with customers and should be happy, helpful, and responsive to their request and concerns. Interested candidates should have a positive attitude and work well in a fast-paced group setting.

Responsibilities:
- Operate professional video cameras to capture live game action, crowd shots, player interviews, and other relevant content during Wisconsin Rapids Rafters home games and select events.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure smooth execution of live broadcasts, including camera positioning, framing, and shot selection.
- Follow direction from the Director and other team members to capture key moments and maintain visual consistency throughout the broadcast.
- Monitor equipment functionality and troubleshoot technical issues as needed to ensure uninterrupted live coverage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while operating camera equipment in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and maintenance before and after each broadcast.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience operating professional video cameras, preferably in a live broadcast or sports production setting.
- Proficiency in camera operation techniques, including framing, focus, and exposure adjustments.
- Familiarity with live production workflows and basic knowledge of video production equipment (e.g., tripods, cables, monitors).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take direction effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the baseball season schedule.
- Enthusiasm for sports and live entertainment is a plus, but not required.

The Kid Zone Host is responsible for attending the Kids Zone games and the children that are enjoying the Kid Zone area. The Kid Zone Host must have a friendly and positive attitude, have the patience of a saint, and be good with kids and parents. The Kid Zone Host will have the ability to take and count tickets accurately, handle cash, handle prizes, and assist in the setup and tear down of the Kids Zone equipment for every game day.
Line Cooks are responsible for ensuring fans receive the freshest food possible in a timely manner. A Line Cook will follow specific food preparation and sanitation guidelines designed to create consistent quality products that are visually appealing and delectable. Interested candidates should have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well within a team. Must be 18+ by law to perform the Line Cook responsibilities.
Dishwasher – The Dishwasher is the hub for success in the main concession’s kitchen. The Dishwasher and sanitation expert is responsible for washing, sanitizing, and storing all dishes and utensils according to proper health code procedures explained by the concessions manager. Additionally, dishwashers will have a role assisting the concession’s managers and Line Cook when needed.
- Perform as the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters mascot during home games and select community events.

Ticket Taker/Verifier will enthusiastically greet fans as they enter the stadium to initiate a great fan experience, help package holders with wristbands, and be a source of information about the stadium. In addition, answering any ticketing questions a fan may have or locations for various seating and concessions. This requires an elevated knowledge of stadium rules and ticket promotions.

- Greet and welcome VIP guests upon their arrival in a warm and friendly manner.
- Provide attentive service to VIP guests throughout the game or event.

- Serve food and beverages to VIP guests, adhering to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
