DICKINSON, ND – The Badlands Big Sticks have announced that they have signed University of Cincinnati catcher Noah Wicks.
A true freshman, Wicks has already appeared in three games for the Bearcats in the 2024 season. He is listed at 5-foot-11, 186-pound and bats from the left-hand side of the plate. He is a product of Arvada, CO and is pursuing a major in Sports Administration.
Prior to college, Noah attended Golden High School where, as a senior, he put up stellar numbers as he batted .533 with 16 home runs, 46 runs batted in, a 1.206 slugging percentage, and even showcased ability on the mound with a 1.78 ERA. That was more than enough to be named First Team All-League and First Team All-State along with helping lead the Demons to the state championship game.
Noah Wicks is the first catcher to be signed for the 2024 season and marks the ninth player to be announced.
