DICKINSON, ND – The Badlands Big Sticks announced today the return of star first-baseman Brant Kragel for the 2024 season.

Brant Kragel made his debut in a Big Sticks uniform during the 2023 season and immediately made his presence felt. He swung his way to a team-leading .404 batting average (23 H, 57 AB) and also led the team in on-base and slugging percentage at .514 and .526 respectively (for an OPS of 1.040).

Kragel is currently in his second-year attending Pima Community College (Tucson, AZ), where he is continuing to tear the cover off the ball for the Aztecs. In 24 games this season, he is slashing .404/.493/.649 to go along with 3 home runs and 23 RBIs. The six-foot-five, 225-pound sophomore plans to major in Sports Psychology or Kinesiology after obtaining his associate’s degree.

Brant is the tenth player to be announced and the second infielder to join the 2024 roster.
