Dickinson, ND- The Badlands Big Sticks have announced the signing of right-handed-pitcher Oliver Ward to the team’s 2024 roster.

Ward, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound sophomore from Mill Creek, Washington, currently attends Northeast Community College (Norfolk, Nebraska). This past season, Ward has appeared in 13 games (67.0 IPs), recording 72 strikeouts (9.67 K/9), with an ERA of 2.82. He ended the season with a 7-1 record.

Ward is a graduate of North Creek High School where he was a four-year varsity starter. His freshman season at Northeast, he earned a place on the Fall Academic All-Region Team and 1st Team All Region Team.
