Duluth, MN- The 3-game losing streak has come to an end as the Badlands Big Sticks beat the Duluth Huskies 6-2.

The Sticks batted in the first runs of the game in the second inning, thanks to a double from Cooper Hill. Dane Jones would hit a double and Hill would score on an error by the shortstop Ethan Cole. The Huskies would tie it up in the third on a Joe Vos triple and an Ethan Cole single. In the 4th inning, the Sticks would have a big three-run inning. Tristian Ellis was able to score the first run of the inning on a passed ball behind the plate. Then Quade Peters would poked a ball into right field and scored Gunnar Hansen and Ty Nekoliczak.

The next three innings would be scoreless for the next three innings. Tyler Conklin would pitch through the fifth, only giving up 4 hits and 3 walks. Braxton Greenburg would pitch the last 4 innings. He would shut the Huskies down and only give up 4 hits to them. Gunnar Hansen would bat in another run in the 8th to make it a 6-4 game. Huskies would try to come back but even with players in scoring position, they could not get it done.

The Sticks would would win this game with no errors, something that they have not done since the beginning of this road trip. The Sticks have one last game in Duluth tomorrow before they come back home for their game on Wednesday.
