Dickinson, ND- The Big Sticks drop a second game to the Bismarck Larks this season, this time in extras
The Larks would open up scoring with back-to-back home runs from Michael Davinni and Mathis Meurant. In the top of the 4th, Theo Bryant IV would slam another homer. Davinni and Meurant would come up big again and drive in three more runs. The Sticks would find themselves down 6-0 in the 5th when Mason Strong would hit a sac fly to score our first run. Troy Berg would score on a passed ball and Jake Paczkowski would have a 2 RBI single.
Berg would hit a triple to score a run in the bottom of the 6th inning. Kaden Carpenter would follow next with a RBI single to tie the game up at 6 a piece. The next three innings would remain scoreless thanks to some solid relief pitching on both sides. Lark’s Bryant would score 2 on a double to left field and Kyle Hvidsten had an RBI single to center. The Sticks would only be able to put up 1 on a Adam Haber single.
The Big Sticks will be on the road to Willmar before their rivalry series with the Hot Tots. First game of the series starts at 6:35 central time.
