Mankato, MN- The Big Sticks lost 5-1 last night to the MoonDogs before today’s double header.
THe Sticks started hot with a Brant Kragel RBI single, The Moondogs would then match that with a RBI groundout from Matthew Fleischhaker. The Sticks would sadly never score again in this contest, thanks to a combined effort from the relievers. Aiden McGee and Ben Rosin would record 9 Ks and only 6 hits, which really stalled the Sticks’ offense.
The MoonDogs would contiue to score in the 2nd off of a home run that was smacked by Casey Sorg. The following inning, Josh Alexander would crush another home run but this time it would score two. The last run of the game would be scored on a sac fly from Ben Robichaux.
The Sticks double header today starts at 12:05 CT and the second game will start at 6:35 CT
