Dickinson, ND-  The Badlands Big Sticks lose another game to the St. Cloud Rox this week by a score of 8-2

The Sticks were able to start it off early when Adam Haber scored on an Evan Appelwick groundout. The Rox would follow up with a RBI groundout from Brody Williams and RBI single from Sawyer Smith. They would score three more runs in the 5th inning to give them a 4 run lead. Smith would strike again with a 2 RBI double and Ben Higden score another on a sac fly. The Sticks would cap off that inning with a Quade Peters RBI single.

Hunter Day and Marcus Kruzan were able to completely shut down the Sticks offense this entire game. Day would strikeout 4 and only give up 2 earned runs and Kruzun would not surrender a single hit in 3 innings of work. The Rox would give the Sticks the final blow in the 8th inning by scoring three runs. Carter Hanson would score two on a single to right and Trey King would knock him in with a single to center.

The Sticks are on the road this weekend and will kick it off in St. Cloud with a start time of 6:35 CT.
