Battle Creek, Mich.—The struggles at the plate and in the field continue for the Bombers as they drop their fourth straight, falling to the Lakeshore Chinooks by a score of 6-2. Josh Jimenez got the start from the mound for the Bombers and would throw well going 5 innings with 5 strikeouts.

Mistakes in the outfield would harm Jimenez as he saw four Chinooks cross the plate, only one of which was earned.

Andrew Mitchell made his second appearance of the season for the Bombers and worked quickly through the 6^th and 7^th, the 8^th however saw another Chinook score prompting the season debut of Louisiana-Monroe hurler Josh Leone.

Leone gave up one earned run in his time on the mound but looked very sharp only giving up an infield single in the top of the ninth that would eventually come around to score.

Laz Rivera had a nice day with his bat reaching base in every trip to the plate, going 2 for 2 with 2 walks and scored one of the Bombers two runs.

Catcher Cody Kuzinici went 2 for 3 with a walk and a stolen base.

The Bombers will look for their first win at home tomorrow as they take on the Chinooks again, first pitch at 5:05.
