The Willmar Stingers recorded a league-high run total over Alexandria Monday night, defeating Alexandria 22-6, powered behind their left fielder Ky Parrott's outstanding night at the plate.
Parrott lifted his team to the blow out victory, going 2-for-5, hitting two dingers and knocking in five RBIs, while scoring four runs. The sophomore from James Madison has been a consistently powerful bat in the Stingers' lineup with a .279 batting average, 3 home runs and is third in the league with 42 RBIs.
Parrott and the Stingers will seek the series sweep of Alexandria, hosting the finale at 7:05 PM.
