Madison 8, La Crosse 3

The Madison Nightmares rallied past the La Crosse Steam to secure an 8-3 victory. Gretta Grassel (Mississippi State University) went 2-for-5 with a double, scoring once, and driving in four runs. Emma Kavanagh (University of Arizona) went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Mackenzie Foster (University of Wisconsin) went 2-for-4, scoring once with one RBI. Ella Stephenson (University of Michigan) went 2-for-4, scoring once with a pair of doubles. Karlie McKenzie (Eastern Illinois University) earned the win, throwing seven innings with seven strikeouts, allowing four hits and one earned run. 

Mankato 18, Wausau 3

The Mankato Habaneros exploded for eighteen runs to mercy-rule the Wausau Ignite 18-3. Skylinn Pogue (University of Iowa) was perfect at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a grand slam, recording six RBIs and three runs. Sailor Hall (Minnesota State University) went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, tallying three RBIs, three runs scored, and one stolen base. Katy Olive (University of Northern Iowa) went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, scoring twice, and stealing one base. Paige Zender (Iowa State) went 2-for-3 with a double, scoring three times, and driving in one run. Kaylie Frydenlund (University of Minnesota-Duluth) went 1-for-1 with a solo home run. Brooklyn Hofer (University of North Dakota) went 1-for-3 with a solo home run. Sami Potvin (Iowa State University) earned the win, throwing five innings with two strikeouts, allowing five hits, three runs, and one walk.
