Kenosha, Wis. – This Saturday the Kenosha Kingfish will preview two of the games that will be part of the Kid Zone this season at Simmons Field. The event will take place on Saturday, April 26th at 9:00 am, in conjunction with Kingfish single game tickets going on sale for the 2014 season.
The Kingfish complete promotional schedule was released last week and is available at Kingfishbaseball.com.
The Flying Elvi Bounceland will feature an internal slide, bouncing area, climbing wall, and basketball hoop. The Kingfish will also have an inflatable Speed Pitch in the Kid Zone and it will be set up at the ballpark for Saturday’s event. This free event is open to the public, and the community is encouraged to bring their children to Simmons Field to try out the games for the first time.
Once the season starts, the Kid Zone will be located near the right field entrance of the ballpark, behind the Festival Foods Backyard, and will be open for all home games throughout the season.
The Kingfish will host their season opener against the Mankato MoonDogs on Saturday, May 31st at 6:05 pm at Kenosha’s historic Simmons Field.
