Game-Day Staff: (Part Time)

The Kenosha Kingfish are looking for qualified, customer service oriented, and outgoing individuals to work at Historic Simmons Field during the 2024 season. We ask that you complete our online application prior to interviewing for any of our available game-day positions. Each summer the Kingfish employ over 100 part-time staff for various roles around the ballpark. Below is a list of game-day positions along with a short description of the duties and responsibilities pertinent to each role. If interested, please fill out the application above.

The positions we are looking to fill may include:

UsherDirects fans to their seats and answers questions fans may have. This requires an increased knowledge of Simmons Field and its various areas and a willingness to inquire with full-time staff if needed to ensure our fans are receiving correct information in a kind and timely manner. Parking ushers are responsible for maintaining an orderly parking system. 

Kids ZoneInteracts with younger Kingfish fans and provides them with a positive experience. Kid Zone employees are in charge of maintaining game safety and monitoring the inflatables (bounce house and speed pitch) and other games. 

MerchandiseAssist Kingfish fans in finding the apparel or memorabilia of their choice. Provide a positive experience for the fans while efficiently entering the cash and credit transactions. 

VendorsSell various merchandise and food and beverage products throughout the grandstands. Vendors must be outgoing, able to lift 25 pounds, able to raise and project their voice to sell products, and have the willingness to stand/walk throughout the duration of their shift(s).

Hospitality Servers/Beer PourersProvide service to the suite customers, including but not limited to; preparing the suite with food and beverage for the event, maintaining suite cleanliness, and providing a positive experience for all members of the group. Suite servers and beer pourers must be, at least, 18 years of age, have a valid bartending license prior to the start of employment, and have an outgoing personality. 

ConcessionsEmployees hold various roles throughout the ballpark in food and beverage areas. Employees must provide excellent customer service, display an understanding of food and beverage options within a designated area, and closely follow the health and sanitation guidelines set forth by the Kingfish. Available positions include:

  • Food & Beverage Supervisor
  • Cooks
  • Runners
  • Cashiers
  • Dishwashers
Parking AttendantsThe Kingfish are looking for energetic parking lot attendants to direct fans during the 2020 summer.  Candidates must be able to stay on their feet and walk between lots parking cars.  As a parking lot attendant you get to be the first impression of the Kingfish when fans arrive at the game.  Enthusiasm, energy and a good attitude are musts for this role.   
Ticket TakersThe Kingfish are looking for ticket takers for positions at the front and back gate.  This role rips fan’s tickets as they enter the game, assists with giveaways, directs fans and monitors the gates during the game.  This position requires an out going personality and a customer service focused attitude.
