Game-Day Staff: (part time)

The Kenosha Kingfish are looking for qualified, customer service oriented, and outgoing individuals to work at Historic Simmons Field during the 2017 season. We will be holding two (2) open interview dates in April of 2017 and all interested candidates are invited to apply. We ask that you complete our online application prior to interviewing for any of our available game-day positions. Each summer the Kingfish employ over 100 part-time staff for various roles around the ballpark. Below is a list of game-day positions along with a short description of the duties and responsibilities pertinent to each role. If interested, please fill out the applicaton HERE.


UsherDirects fans to their seats and answers questions fans may have. This requires an increased knowledge of Simmons Field and its various areas and a willingness to inquire with full-time staff if needed to ensure our fans are receiving correct information in a kind and timely manner. Parking ushers are responsible for maintaining an orderly parking system. 

Kids ZoneInteracts with younger Kingfish fans and provides them with a positive experience. Kid Zone employees are in charge of maintaining game safety and monitoring the inflatables (bounce house and speed pitch) and other games. 

MerchandiseAssist Kingfish fans in finding the apparel or memorabilia of their choice. Provide a positive experience for the fans while efficiently entering the cash and credit transactions. 

VendorsSell various merchandise and food and beverage products throughout the grandstands. Vendors must be outgoing, able to lift 25 pounds, able to raise and project their voice to sell products, and have the willingness to stand/walk throughout the duration of their shift(s).

Hospitality Servers/Beer PourersProvide service to the suite customers, including but not limited to; preparing the suite with food and beverage for the event, maintaining suite cleanliness, and providing a positive experience for all members of the group. Suite servers and beer pourers must be, at least, 18 years of age, have a valid bartending license prior to the start of employment, and have an outgoing personality. 

ConcessionsEmployees hold various roles throughout the ballpark in food and beverage areas. Employees must provide excellent customer service, display an understanding of food and beverage options within a designated area, and closely follow the health and sanitation guidelines set forth by the Kingfish. Available positions include:

  • Grillers
  • Runners
  • Cashiers
  • Dishwashers

The Kenosha Kingfish are looking to hire a Game Day in game DJ for the 2017 season

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide the general fan appropriate musical entertainment before, during, and after events.
  • Must be able to work all 36 Kingfish Home games of the 2017 season.
  • Must have own equipment.
  • Experience is preferred, but not required.

The Kenosha Kingfish are looking for an upbeat, professional, and articulate Public Address Announcer for the 2017 season. The position will add to the overall fan experience by serving as the in-stadium voice for Kenosha Kingfish home games. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as Public Address Announcer with the ability to project and enunciate clearly over a microphone in front of a large crowd.
  • Announce all in-game action including but not limited to: lineups, pre-game activities, and in-game promotions. 
  • Display a positive and professional demeanor while representing the Kenosha Kingfish.
  • Be available for all Kingfish home games with the potential for post-season games.

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous Public Address or vocal broadcasting experience.

  • General knowledge and understanding of baseball including rules, positions, and terminology.

  • Must be able to take direction and adjust quickly in fast-paced situations.

  • Ability to work well with others.
