Affordable, family entertainment returns to renovated Simmons Field on Saturday, May 31 and there are less than 100 seats still remaining for the inaugural Kenosha Kingfish game against the Mankato MoonDogs at 6:05 pm. The new seating bowl at Simmons Field seats nearly 2,000 and as of Wednesday morning less than 100 seats including single tickets and handicapped accessible seating remained. Tickets can be purchased at kingfishbaseball.com, at the Kingfish box office at 7817 Sheridan Road in Kenosha or by calling 262.653.0900. In addition to the limited number of grandstand seats available, tickets for the Miller Lite Fish Bowl and Festival Foods Backyard are also available.

“The community response we have received so far has been overwhelmingly positive,” Kingfish General Manager Jake McGhee said. “We can’t wait for opening night to get here and have the chance to show the greater Kenosha area the new facility and the type of show we will put on during all 36 Kingfish games.”

The Kingfish are set to take on the Mankato MoonDogs on Saturday, May 31st at 6:05 pm at a newly renovated Simmons Field. Kingfish fans can expect a memorable night, as the team will open the first game Simmons Field with an inaugural season commemorative banner giveaway presented by Miller Lite and Lynch Chevrolet and Kenosha News post-game fireworks following the game. The Kingfish start the season on the road on May 27th and return to Simmons Field for a four-game homestand with games on May 31, June 1June 2 and June 3.
