Kenosha, Wis. – July 6th will be a busy day at Simmons Field. Sunday the Kingfish will host a doubleheader against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The first game will start at 3:05 p.m. and gates will open at 2:00 p.m.  The first game will be a continuation of a previous game, starting in the fourth inning with the second game starting 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first.  The second game will be seven inning game. One ticket is needed to gain admission for the two games.  

Sunday will also be Bark in the Park Night where fans can bring their dogs into game.  Some dogs will even be selected and featured during our on-field promotions between innings. 

In honor of man’s best friend, Whiplash, the dog riding cowboy monkey will perform following the game.  Whiplash is a crowd favorite and has entertained at events all across North America and Europe. He has appeared on ESPN, Good Morning America and The Today Show. He also starred in a series of television advertisements for the fast food chain Taco Johns.

Monday, July 7th is another doubleheader against the Woodchucks. Beginning at 5:05 p.m. the Kingfish and Woodchucks will play two seven inning games. Gates will open for this game at 4:05 p.m. and one ticket is needed to gain admission for the two games. Addtionally, the night will be Italian Heritage Night. The Italian National Anthem will be sung and the Kingfish players last name will be altered to Italian. Any fans whose last name ends in a vowel can present their ID to the front gate and recieve a voucher for a free soda.
