Kenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish take on the Battle Creek Bombers tonight in the final game of this road trip. The road has been kind to the Kingfish as they have won three out of the five games and sit in third place.  They will seek redemption in tonight’s game after falling 12-1 in yesterday’s affair.

Justin Peters will be doing his job on the mound tonight and looking for his first win. In 13 innings pitched, he has struck out 10 and will be useful in holding down the Bombers as they tallied 12 hits in last night’s battle.

Aiding in the win will be the Kingfish offense. In the past few games, they have come up strong and scored big in single innings.  Steven Sensley has been impressive as of late, with a three game hitting streak and a RBI single in last night’s game to score the only run.

Starting for the Bombers will be Joe Mockbee. The lefty has no recorded wins or losses and has a 5.06 ERA. Mockbee has faced the Kingfish in the past, giving up one run and two hits in a frame of pitching.

The Kingfish return to Kenosha on Thursday, July 17th for Snap-On Sockets “What If” Night. Friday, July 18th will be Lee Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric Twins Turn Back the Clock Night with post game fireworks as well.

The Kingfish office is located at 7817 Sheridan Road and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. For more information on 7-game packs, season or group tickets, please log on to kingfishbaseball.com or call 262.653.0900.
