(Ballpark Biz) – The 2014 summer collegiate baseball regular season has come to a close, and our annual Summer Collegiate Top 50 per game average attendance rankings are now available. For the fifth year in a row, every team in our Top 50 cracked 1,000 fans per game.
Forever at the top of the list are the Madison Mallards (Northwoods League) with a commanding 6,139 fans per game. The LaCrosse Loggers (Northwoods League) and Elmira Pioneers (Perfect Game League) maintain their #2 and #3 spots, respectively.
Moving up one spot to #4, the powerhouse Okotoks Dawgs (Western Major Baseball League) continue to dominate in Canada, but the second-year Victoria HarbourCats (West Coast League) make the grade at #28. The Newport Gulls (New England Collegiate Baseball League) round out the top five.
Making their debut in the Top 50 in their inaugural season are the Kalamazoo Growlers (Northwoods League) at #7, Kenosha Kingfish (Northwoods League) at #8, Worcester Bravehearts (Futures League) at #18, and Yakima Valley Pippins (West Coast League) at #35.
