Kenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish (9-4) look to make it five consecutive victories when they take on the Madison Mallards (7-5) at 6:35 p.m. at Simmons Field tonight.

The Kingfish used back-to-back RBI singles in the first inning by Hunter Alexander and Alex Borglin to take a 2-0 lead in last night’s game.  That is all the run support Kingfish starter Josh Serio needed.  He went 6 innings, allowing one run and striking out 10, a team high on the season.  Ryan Orr pitched the final three innings to earn the save and clinch the 5-1 victory.

The Kingfish turn to Andrew Zapata on the mound tonight.  Zapata is 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 14 strikeouts so far this season.  Last time out at Kalamazoo, the UConn player earned the victory by throwing seven strikeouts in seven innings, allowing just two hits and zero runs.

The Mallards will throw Matt Bower tonight.  Bower sports a 1-0 record with a 0.00 ERA in two appearances for the Mallards.  Bower earned the win against Green Bay on June 3rd, lasting five innings and striking out 10 batters.  The senior from Washington State is originally from Federal Way, Washington.

Tonight, Candlewood Inn and Suites present Guaranteed Win Night.  If the Kingfish lose, free tickets will be distributed to fans, good for select 2015 Kingfish home games, based on availability.  A loss by the Kingfish also means General Manager Jake McGhee has to sleep out in the Twin Disc Bambino for the night!

It is also Delton Grand Wisconsin Dells Night.  1,000 Wisconsin Dells coupon books will be given away, which features hundreds of dollars in savings for various restaurants and attractions at the Wisconsin Dells.  Hotel stay giveaways contests will also be featured tonight, so make sure to make your way over to Simmons Field for a chance to win big and cheer on the Kingfish.
