EMS Appreciation Day and Piggy Bank Giveaway

On Wednesday, August 5th at 7:05 p.m. the Kingfish are home on EMS Appreciation Day presented by Aurora Health Care. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. with an EMS softball game beginning at 5 p.m.
Wednesday night is also Educators Credit Union Piggy Bank Giveaway night. The giveaways will begin at 4:30 p.m. when the gates open. Kids are invited onto the field post-game for a quarter pickup. 1,000 quarters will be dropped on the infield for kids to fill up their new piggy banks. The fan favorite ZOOperstars are also at Simmons Field that night, presented by Meijer. Come on down to Simmons Field for great family fun and baseball this Wednesday night.
The Kingfish ticket office powered by Platinum Systems office is located at 7817 Sheridan Road and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Kenosha Kingfish are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. Playing its 21st season of summer collegiate baseball, the Northwoods League is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 18 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, more than 120 Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (CWS), Jordan Zimmermann (WAS), Curtis Granderson (NYM), Lucas Duda (NYM) and Ben Zobrist (KAN).
