Kenosha, Wis. – The Kenosha Kingfish (48-24) open up postseason play tonight when they host the La Crosse Loggers (40-31) at 7:05 p.m. at Simmons Field for Game 1 of the Northwoods League Divisional Playoffs. Kenosha is the number one overall seed in the South Division after winning both the first and second half division titles. The Kingfish and the Loggers split the 2015 regular season series, with each side wining four games apiece.
In their final regular season game, the Kingfish fell 10-6 at St. Cloud last night. Eric Filia hit his sixth home run of the year and drove in two runs. Jason Scholl added two hits and two runs scored. Trevor Haas started and threw two innings, allowing two runs on three hits. J.R. Holloway took the loss for the Kingfish.
