Wisconsin Cheese Curdfest At Simmons Field

Saturday, September 19th from 1pm – 5pm

 

Kenosha, Wis. – On Saturday, September 19th the Kenosha Kingfish will host Wisconsin Cheese Curdfest, presented by the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, at Historic Simmons Field. Admission is free to the public.  

Numerous restaurant and cheese vendors will have food stands set up on the field, all with their own unique fresh or fried curds.  There will be voting on the best fresh and best fried curds. Wash the curds down with a cold beer or soda, also available for sale.

Bring the kids to come check out the petting zoo, bounce house, prize wheel or get their faces painted and enjoy live music and weiner dog races. Kids and adults can participate in the Cheese Curd Home Run Challenge and Cheese Curd Eating Contest.

Event timeline is as follow:

1pm – Gates Open

1:30-2:30pm – Bingo

2:30pm – Live Music Starts

3pm – Weiner Dog Races

4pm – Voting on Best Curds Ends

4pm – Cheese Curd Eating Contest

4:45pm – Winners Announced
