Kenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish (18-24) dropped game two of their series to the Rafters at home by a final score of 8-5. The loss gives the Kingfish a split in the series. 

The Kingfish put together a 4 run 2nd inning to take an early 4-1 lead. Mason Fishback had a 2-run double to highlight the frame. Blake Reese and Gunnar McNeill followed with RBI singles. The Kingfish would not score again until the 8th when Dylan Rosa drove in Sawyer Gieseke on an RBI double. 

Rhett Rapshus was the starting pitcher, and left the game in the 3rd with an apparent finger injury. He threw 2.1 innings, allowed 3 hits, 1 earned run, walked 3, and struck out one. Ty Harris took the loss after allowing 3 ER in 1.2 innings. Adam Dressler came back to throw 5 innings, allowed 3 unearned runs, and struck out 2. 

Blake Reese went 2 for 5 at the plate with 2 RBI. Dylan Rosa had a 2 for 4 outing with an RBI and a double, and Mason Fishback had a 2-RBI double to cap a 9 hit night. 

The Kingfish will be on the road in Madison tomorrow night at 7:05, and then will host the Mallards Wednesday night.
