The Kingfish (19-27 overall) defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks 4-3 courtesy of a JD Hearn walk-off single. 

The Kingfish first tied the game in the 7th with a Blake Reese 2-run single, and the score was 2-2. Lakeshore took the lead again in the 8th, however, and the Kingfish trailed 3-2 heading into the bottom of the 9th

Rob Henry picked up a one out single to get the rally started. Blake Reese smashed a towering triple off the right field walk to score Henry and tie the game at 3-3. JD Hearn followed up with an RBI single, and the Kingfish took the 4-3 win. 

Cole Erickson was excellent again, surrendering just 2 runs off of 5 hits. In his 7 innings of action, he was able to retire 4 on strikes. Chase Thurston worked the final two innings and took the win, allowing just 1 run and 2 hits. 

Blake Reese set the pace for the offense tonight, finishing a home run shy of the cycle. He also plated 3 runs on a 3 for 5 night. JD Hearn had a strong 3 for 5 night as well, and Rob Henry finished the day 2 for 4. 

The Kingfish will host Madison tomorrow night at 6:05 CT. On Sunday, the Kingfish will be in Madison to take on the Mallards at 4:05 CT.
