Kenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish (23-45 overall) fell to the Bullfrogs tonight by a final score of 10-5. The loss forces a series split between the two teams.

Green Bay got out to an early 7-0 lead and never looked back. While the Kingfish offense flickered to life late in the game, it was not enough to overcome the deficit.

Charlie Hecht made his team-high twelfth start of the year for Kenosha. He worked 4.1 innings and allowed 7 runs off of nine hits. JR Holloway threw 0.2 innings of scoreless relief, and Riley Futterknecht gave up one unearned run in two innings of action. Trent VanEgtern, in the final two innings, surrendered two runs.

The Kingfish offense tallied eight hits, three of which went for extra bases. Pete Schuler finished the night 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Matt Kroon picked up a triple in a 2 for 4 night, while Cal Jadacki went 1 for 4 with an RBI double.

The Kingfish will finish the year with four games against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The first game will be tomorrow at 6:35 CT in Wausau.
