Kenosha, Wis. – The Kingfish (26-45) picked up their third straight win tonight, as they topped the Wisconsin Woodchucks 5-1 in the penultimate game of the 2016 season. 

The Kingfish played step-for-step with the Woodchucks through the first four innings, and held a 2-1 lead. Pete Schuler added a run in the 5th on a single, and the Kingfish plated two more in the 8th to notch the victory. 

Adam Dressler had an excellent final start. He threw seven innings, allowed eight hits, and one unearned run. Additionally, he did not walk a single batter and struck out five to pick up his third win of the year. JR Holloway recorded his second save of the season with two shutout innings of relief. 

Cal Jadacki paced the Kingfish offense with a 2 for 2 day, featuring a triple and two walks. Matt Kroon had 2 RBIs and a triple in a 1 for 3 night, and Jake Smith finished up 2 for 5. 

The Kingfish will host the Wisconsin Woodchucks tomorrow at 4:05 CT in the season finale.
