KENOSHA, Wisc. – The Kenosha Kingfish have announced the addition of two hitters who are in their sophomore seasons at Illinois State University. Catcher Nick Zouras and outfielder Tyler Paulsen will each join the Kingfish after wrapping up competition this spring with the Redbirds.

Zouras, a 6’1”, 200-pound right-handed hitter, is a native of Park Ridge, Illinois, and was named a Baseball Factory top prospect during his high school playing days. In 15 games, he’s put together a .258 batting average with an on base percentage of .377 with three doubles and a home run to go with 13 runs driven in. His RBI total ranks second-highest on the team.

Paulsen is a 6’5”, 210-pound right-handed bat from Channahon, Illinois who was a Perfect Game Second-Team All-American in his junior year of high school. He appeared in 15 games during his freshman season and finished the year with a perfect fielding percentage.
