Kingfish Sign A Pair Of Red Birds
KENOSHA, Wis. – A pair of left-handed arms from Illinois State will be joining the Kenosha Kingfish this summer, as the team has added freshmen Brent Headrick and Colton Johnson for the 2017 season.
Headrick, a 6-foot-6, 185-pound pitcher from Custer Park, Illinois, has made six appearances on the mound for the Redbirds this spring. In those appearances, he holds a 5.59 ERA in 19.1 innings pitched with 11 strikeouts and seven walks. His four starts on the mound are tied for the most of anyone on the team.

As a high school senior, Johnson was named to the All-State team after striking out 149 batters while holding a 1.92 ERA in 73 innings. He pitched three scoreless frames in a relief appearance for the Redbirds on March 12th.
