Kenosha, Wis. – The Kenosha Kingfish have released their full promotional schedule for the 2018 season. The 2018 season is jam-packed with eight fireworks shows, five bobblehead nights, multiple celebrity appearances and brand-new theme nights! The Kingfish will continue to provide affordable, family fun all summer long and are excited to offer one of the best baseball experiences there is.
Opening Week
The Kingfish open their season on Tuesday, May 29th against the Battle Creek Bombers. Opening Night will be full of fun featuring CCB Technology stadium blanket giveaway and an appearance by the ZOOperstars! presented by Meijer. Wednesday, May 30th will be the Educators Credit Union Piggy Bank Drop, followed by Wisconsin Lottery Night on Thursday, May 31st.
Bobbleheads
The first bobblehead that will be rolled out for the 2018 season is Kenosha native, Bob Lee Sr., presented by Lee Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric on June 14th. Chris Farley’s famous Saturday Night Live character, ‘Matt Foley’ will have his own bobblehead presented by Twin Disc that will be available Thursday, June 28th. Get creative with the Paintable Elvis bobblehead presented by Festival Foods on Sunday, July 8th. Fans will have the opportunity to paint their own bobblehead that night! Things turn magical on July 17th when Harry Potter night takes over the ballpark which will feature an Elvis Potter bobblehead presented by Platinum Systems. Rounding out the 2018 bobblehead schedule is Bachelor Elvis, who is ready to open his heart to love this summer. See how his love life plays out on August 2nd.
Fireworks
The Kingfish will feature eight post-game fireworks shows, guaranteed to impress. These shows will take place on June 23rd, July 3rd, July 6th, July 7th, July 14th, July 28th, August 3rd and August 11th.
Entertainment Acts/Theme Nights
Former MLB pitcher, Lee Smith will make an appearance on Sunday, June 24th. Shortly after on Monday, July 9th, the beloved Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell will be stopping by Historic Simmons Field for 90’s night. Princess Night, presented by Aurora Health Care, will feature Belle, Jasmine and Queen Elsa who will be stopping by on Monday, August 6th. Rounding out the entertainment acts, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T on Wednesday, August 8th.
As previously mentioned, the Kingfish are diving into new theme nights at the ballpark including Harry Potter Night on Tuesday, July 17th and Star Wars Night presented by Southern Lakes Credit Union on Thursday, July 26th. Finally, on Sunday, July 29th Superhero Night presented by Jockey Being Family will take.
There will be guaranteed fun for everybody at the ballpark all summer long!
