Kingfish Alternate Jersey Contest presented by Aurora Health Care Returns for 2019

Aurora Health Care and the Kenosha Kingfish are excited to announce that the Alternate Jersey Contest is back for 2019! All local Kenosha Area Middle School and High School students are encouraged to submit their designs to the Kingfish for the jersey they would like to see the players wear on select home games and all away games next season.

The winning jersey will be the inspiration for the jersey brought to life and worn by Kingfish players. On the last home game of the season, the game worn jerseys will be auctioned off with proceeds benefiting the Aurora Health Care Foundation.

Many students in the Greater Kenosha area participated in the jersey design contest in 2018. The winner, Riley from All Saints Catholic School saw her design come to life last season. The jersey was worn for all 36 road games in 2018 in addition to select home games as the alternate home jersey.

To be considered, participants must follow the guidelines below:

1. The Kingfish will accept any of the following design samples: computer designs (preferred), paint, crayons, colored pencils, markers and any other way students can convey their concepts.
2. The deadline for all participants is November 30^th, 2018.  The school or students can send their submissions via email, mail or in person at Historic Simmons Field.
3. The jersey must include the following:
   1. All Kingfish PMS colors
   2. Jersey must include the Kingfish fish logo
   3. Include two (2) digit numbers (numbers 10-99) on back of jersey
   4. Number on front location is optional
   5. Jersey designs with the “Kenosha” or “Kingfish” text logos are preferred
   6. 100% of the surface uniform can be used

The winning artist will be given the opportunity to throw out a first pitch. The selected winner will also receive a jersey of their own and a party for up to ten (10) friends/family members.
