Kenosha, Wis. – The Kenosha Kingfish have released their full promotional schedule for the 2019 season. The 2019 season is jam-packed with eight fireworks shows, six bobblehead nights, multiple celebrity appearances and brand-new theme nights! The Kingfish will continue to provide affordable, family fun all summer long and are excited to offer one of the best baseball experiences there is.
OPENING WEEK
The Kingfish open their season on Tuesday, May 28th against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. Opening Night will be full of fun featuring a CCB Technology stadium blanket giveaway and an appearance by the ZOOperstars! presented by Country Financial. Following Opening Night, there will be a magnet schedule giveaway presented by CCB Technology on Wednesday, May 29th.
BOBBLEHEADS
The first bobblehead of the 2019 series brings us to Father’s Day Weekend where we will have a Pat & Patrick Mahomes bobblehead presented by Lee Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric on Friday, June 14th. Spongefish Squarepants will be the next bobblehead giveaway presented by Twin Disc on Wednesday, June 26th. Hakuna Matata – The Lion King Night with The Fish King bobblehead presented by Festival Foods is slated for Monday, July 8th. Wands at the ready… Harry Potter Night with a Lord Elvis (The Fish Who Must Not Be Named) bobblehead giveaway presented by Platinum Systems will take place on Tuesday, July 30th. Then grab your avocado toast because we’re #ADULTING on Thursday, August 1st with a Basic Fish bobblehead giveaway. Rounding out the 2019 bobblehead series, we have an Elvis Gump bobblehead giveaway on Monday, August 5th… Run Elvis… Run!
FIREWORKS
The Kingfish will feature eight post-game fireworks shows, guaranteed to impress. These shows will take place on June 1st, June 15th, July 3rd, July 5th, July 13th, July 20th, July 26th and August 10th.
ENTERTAINMENT ACTS/THEME NIGHTS
Tyler’s Amazing Balancing Act will be making his debut at Historic Simmons Field on Tuesday, June 4th. Princess Night, presented by Aurora Health Care, will feature Queen Elsa, Princess Anna and Princess Jasmine who will be stopping by the ballpark on Sunday, June 23rd. Quickly following, Green Bay Packer Hall of Famer, Jerry Kramer will be at the ballpark on Friday, June 28th. Finally, we’ll have Field of Dreams Night on Tuesday, August 2nd with a special appearance from Dwier Brown who played John Kinsella in the movie.
As previously mentioned, the Kingfish are diving into a few new theme nights at the ballpark including Fortnite Night presented by Kozak Orthodontics on Thursday, June 27th, Christmas in July on Sunday, July 21st, The Beatles Tribute Night presented by Southern Lakes Credit Union on Thursday, July 25th and FRIENDS (TV Show) Night on Wednesday, August 7th.
Fan favorites, Star Wars Night presented by Once Upon a Child will return on Thursday, June 20th, Military Appreciation Night on Sunday, July 7th, Jockey Being Family Superhero Night on Saturday, July 13th and Harry Potter Night on Tuesday, July 30th.
