Kingfish Release 2015 Promotional Schedule

Kenosha, Wis. — The Kenosha Kingfish have released their full promotional schedule for the 2015 season. The 2015 schedule is jam packed with seven amazing fireworks shows, six one-of-a-kind bobblehead giveaways, brand new entertainment acts, and big name celebrities. As promised, the Kingfish will provide affordable, family oriented entertainment and are excited to offer a ballpark experience unlike any other again this summer.

 

Opening Week

The Kingfish open their season at historic Simmons Field for opening night on Tuesday, May 26th against the St. Cloud Rox. Kenosha News opening night will start off with the Lynch Chevrolet Flying Dancing Elvi’ parachuting in pre-game and will feature an appearance by the ZOOperstars presented by CCB Technology. Wednesday, May 27th will feature a Festival Foods Zip-Line Elvis bobblehead giveaway. After one game on the road, the Kingfish return to Simmons Field on Friday, May 29th for Smith and Forge Wrestling Night with an appearance by WWE legend Jerry “The King” Lawler. Miller Lite Fireworks will entertain fans post-game on Saturday, May 30th. The Kingfish wrap up the opening week home stand on Sunday, May 31st featuring an appearance by the FLOW parkour group. The Sunday afternoon game will also feature the Petting Zoo presented by Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farms. Every Sunday home game Kids Run the Bases post-game presented by Aurora Health Care.

 

Bobbleheads

In addition to the Festival Foods Zip-Line Elvis bobblehead giveaway on Wednesday, May 27th, five other bobbleheads will be featured throughout the season. Uke’s Harley Davidson Mini Bike Elvis bobblehead will be given away on Sunday, June 14th. Webster University Public Safety Appreciation Day will take place on Sunday, June 28th with a Lynch Chevrolet Firefighter Elvis bobblehead giveaway. Lee Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric presents a Lenny Webster bobblehead on Friday, July 10th. Friday, July 17th features a Platinum Systems Dancing Elvi Tyler bobblehead giveaway. The 2015 bobblehead series comes to a close on Sunday, July 26th with a first-ever bobble boat, the Twin Disc Bambino Bobble Boat.

 

Fireworks

The Kingfish will feature seven post-game fireworks shows that will light up the Kenosha sky and amaze all fans in attendance. These shows will take place after all Saturday night home games including May 30th, June 6th, June 13th, June 27th, July 11th and July 25th. The Kingfish will wrap up Independence Day weekend with a post-game fireworks show of their own on Sunday, July 5th.

 

Celebrity Appearances

MLB Hall of Famer and former Chicago Cub, Andre Dawson will be in attendance on Tuesday, July 7th. Don’t miss Lee Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric Twins night on Friday, July 10th with an appearance by Lenny Webster and former Kenosha Twins. Fans will have the chance to meet WWE legend Jerry “The King” Lawler on Smith and Forge Wrestling night as part of opening weekend.

 

Entertainment Acts

The Human Cannonball, Dave “The Bullet” Smith, will make his return to historic Simmons Field and will once again fly nearly 200 feet across the field on Friday, June 5th following the game. The family friendly dancing inflatables of the ZOOperstars will appear three times during the inaugural season on May 26th, July 12th and August 5th. The Lynch Chevrolet Flying Dancing Elvi’ will parachute into Simmons Field pre-game on opening night and on Thursday, August 6th. High flying XPOGO is presented by Kenosha News on Thursday, July 16th. Fans can also enjoy the Petting Zoo presented by the Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm on several Sunday afternoon home games including May 31June 7June 14July 5, and July 26.

 

Kingfish single-game tickets will go on-sale on Saturday, April 25th at 9:00 am. The only way to guarantee tickets for the most popular nights is to purchase a 7-game pack.
