Chinooks Win!!!!

The Lakeshore Chinooks opened up their inaugural season in Green Bay last night with a win in front of 1100 fans. Not only was it the first game in Chinooks franchise history, but it was the first Northwoods League game for many Chinooks players.

Joe Greenfield was the starting pitcher for the Chinooks, and what a game he had! Greenfield showed confidence and poise throughout the night. Scott Wilcox came up with the Chinooks first-ever franchise hit to break up the Bullfrogs no hitter.  The Bullfrogs produced the first run but the Chinooks came away victorious. It wasn’t until the 9th inning where the Chinooks tied the game to go into extra innings. Josh Uhen and Cody Glenn both came in to close the game, and did it well. Bullfrogs walked the bases loaded in the top of the 11th and hit Eric Aguilera to walk in the winning run.
