Get ready for the 2012 Summer Olympics! The Lakeshore Chinooks will welcome Olympic Gold Medalist Bonnie Blair to Kapco Park on Sunday, July 15. The Chinooks take on the Eau Claire Express at 5:05 p.m.

Bonnie Blair is a world-record-holding speed skater and the most decorated woman in Winter Olympics history with five gold medals and one bronze medal. In 1988, Bonnie Blair set a world record and won her first Olympic gold in the 500 meters. She became the first American woman to win five gold medals and the first American of either gender to win gold medals in the same event in three consecutive Olympics.

This Sunday, July 15, the Lakeshore Chinooks are celebrating the upcoming Summer Olympics with an all-Olympic themed night, starting with free autographs and the first pitch by Bonnie Blair. In-between inning entertainment will feature Olympic-sized relay races and contests.
